Guests who love the intense flavour of precious Tuscan truffles can partake in an excursion that will immerse them in the ancient art of truffle hunting.

The day begins with guests studying truffles; the different types, their properties and their aromas, and the perfect conditions to find truffles growing, sometimes known as ‘pastures’. The exploratory excursion will entail a truffle hunt led by a number of local truffle-hunters using specially trained dogs and is available year-round.

The experience concludes with guests enjoying a meal specially prepared to feature the magnificent truffles found during the excursion.
