The Merlot’s fermentation lasts about 10 days at 28-30C. The wine is then aged for 10 months in oak barrique before it spends up to 10 more months in bottle gaining complexity.

The Merlot’s fermentation lasts around 10 days at 28-30° C. The wine is then aged in oak barriques for 10 months and refined 10 months in bottle before its commercialization.
The Matriarca has an intense ruby red colour with glints of garnet. A fantastic bouquet full of wild berries with balsam and toasted hints. This is a rich, full bodied wine with smooth tannins. A very pleasant long lasting taste with spicy notes.
Food Pairings:Excellent with all types of meat and first courses.
It should be served at 18 °C.
